The End is Near

Well, we don't have much further to go!  That is with both the pregnancy and getting moved into the house!

Doctor's visits are now weekly. Everything seems to be perfectly on track. Tuesday was my last appointment and Dr. Smith said he fully expected Case to arrive early! We're definitely starting to get into the more difficult stages of pregnancy - swelling ankles, feet & hands. I'm also in the obvious nesting phase now too. Only two and a half more weeks, if he doesn't come earlier!!!

Without a doubt I'm getting much larger.

Cousin Wyatt came to visit one day. He is now 8 months old, can you believe it?

We have been working like little Trojans to get the house ready before Case arrives. We've come to reality and realized that we probably will not be actually moved in before he gets here. However, we will be there before I go back to work towards the end of April. The primary focus has been on the back rooms of the house - kitchen, den, Case's room & utility. Many thanks to Colter, Connie, Mom, Daddy, Julie, Doug, Chandler, Jonathan, John, Bowery, Melissa, Carson, Mr. Larry, Jeff, Phillip, Stephanie & Clint, each of these rooms have all been painted and most of the trim has also been painted too. The floors are finally finished, even the concrete utility room floor has been stained. Molding and base boards are lacking in all of  these rooms, but that should come in next week along with our storm windows. We will be installing both of these ourselves so do not expect this to be a miraculous immediate change. Mom has been in charge of glazing the windows and getting them prepped for the new storm windows. The window's in Case's room have been boarded up since we started having so many break-ins. It has been over a year since we installed the security system, which was the best move we've ever made. They had the boarding down yesterday while working on the windows and you can really seem the room come to life. Once the storm windows are installed we will no longer keep up the boarding. We're also missing light fixtures which will be ordered this week.
